Merry Christmas

In the midst of glitzy lights, mad scrambling for last-minute gifts and music blaring about Santa Claus' arrival in town, I choose to remember that Christmas is the celebration of Jesus' birth. He was born humbly in a stable despite His status as a King, and for that I am grateful.

Stable that J helped me construct for Sunday School

Because of Jesus,

While Little An is coughing in her sleep, I can trust Him to provide her with sweet rest and to heal her completely.

As we give gifts and offer our time to help the less fortunate this season, we are certain that He will provide our needs.

Just as the star led the wise men to the house of Jesus a long time ago in Bethlehem, we are sure that He will guide us to fulfil His purpose for us.

May He grant you joy and peace too. Merry Christmas. :)
