Your children shall be taught by the Lord

Last Sunday, one of my children was upset over uncomfortable shoes, causing us to be late for church. Just as I was entering the church still feeling perturbed over the morning's happening, a lady approached me and said she wanted to congratulate me for raising such a well-behaved and responsible child like the above-mentioned child! The lady must have been an angel sent by God!

During the service, a mother of four shared how God had transformed her two sons. One of them told her never to expect him to become a Christian, but today he is actively serving in the youth ministry. Her second son went to church out of obligation, but soon, he requested for a good guitar so he could serve as a musician in church. Praise the Lord! My tears just came flowing and people who saw me must have thought I was odd.

I sometimes worry unnecessarily about my children, forgetting that God has promised that my children shall be taught by Him, and great shall be their peace (Isaiah 54:13). May I rest in His promise.

All your children shall be taught by the Lord
And great shall be the peace of your children.
Isaiah 54:13
